My fascination with knives and swords began in childhood, where I played with toys that would often 'fall apart' so I could practice sharpening them—though I didn’t have much success at the time. As a teenager, my interest expanded to include the various materials used in knife making and sharpening techniques. After a few years, I started sharpening our household knives, axes, and pruners. Eventually, when my family moved to, I had to leave my workshop behind, but the passion remained, even as my interests shifted to motorbikes.

Recently, after stepping away from truck driving, I seized the opportunity to return to my hobby and established BladesHead, a mobile sharpening service in the beautiful South West town, Backwell. My goal is to travel around Backwell and North Somerset in my van, providing sharpening services for knives, axes, clippers, garden tools, and more.
